Qualifications

- Bachelor Podiatry (1996)

- Certificate in Lower Limb Dry Needling

Paul has worked in the Stonnington area for over 10 years, focusing on Sports Medicine and Paediatric Injury management and prevention.

Previously working alongside AFL physiotherapists and Sports Physicians, Paul has gained valuable experience in the treatment of lower limb and pelvic conditions through the use of biomechanical correction with strengthening, footwear or orthotic therapy. Involvement in an orthotic laboratory has also given Paul insight into the manufacturing and prescription of foot orthoses.

Paul has a wealth of experience in Paediatrics.  In addition, over the past 15 years he has worked with elite sporting individuals from Melbourne Victory, Melbourne Giants Basketball and Dandenong Stingrays Football teams, along with many amateur football, athletic and netball clubs.  From his years of involvement in the local sporting community, he has developed a strong referral base.

Clinically, Paul’s particular interests are in footwear technology and running mechanics. Paul’s experience with biomechanics and orthotics means he can accurately assess and re assess an individual’s gait pattern using the computer gait analysis program Silicon Coach. A highly detailed assessment and specialist knowledge provides the foundation for Paul’s treatment.
